Many corporate and residential premises are increasingly becoming labelled as 'sick buildings' due to the air quality and lack of fresh air. Very little air is getting in or out and this results in stale air, odours from humans and pets, cooking odours, aerosols, cleaning detergents, air fresheners and perfumes.
The use of central heating has created an environment ideal for bacteria and germs especially when you consider the excess of dust and dead skin in the air. We have traditionally tried to cover up odours by spraying strong smelling fresheners or chemicals into the air. When you consider that we spend most of our time indoors this could mask the real health issue.
